Georgia Republicans Are Voluntarily Taxing All Americans

Georgia Senate Candidates Raphael Warnock (Dem) and Jon Ossoff (Dem) have promised to pass a $1200 Stimulus Check for everyone in the country. The only reason a Stimulus hasn’t passed yet is that the GOP controlled Senate has refused to consider one.
A $1200 Stimulus Check will work as a one time UBI payment. Right-Wingers that are pessimistic about UBI dismiss it as just a negative income tax. While I agree it works like a negative income tax, it works better than a traditional tax cut for a couple of reasons. It is able to include people who have fallen out of the governmental system, it is progressive, and it helps all people, every single month, even if someone loses their job. But generally, I find it acceptable to promote UBI as a tax cut for everyone.
It is the first time a Special or Runoff Election will ever decide who control the Senate Majority. Georgia will choose one of two scenarios:
If Loeffler OR Perdue win, no $1200 Checks
If Warnock AND Ossoff win, $1200 Checks for Every American
It's certain that Loeffler and Perdue will get at least 40% of the vote, and over 90% of Georgia Republicans will vote for at least one of them. Those voters are voting for huge tax increase that will hurt low income people the most. For all the proclamations of hating taxes spouted by the GOP, Republican Voters evidently love taxes as much as James Medlock.
